Now that 'Trevor' is officially mine I need to start shopping for all his bits and pieces...

Can anybody recommend a cheapish bridle? Don't want anything fancy - no flash and preferably a wide noseband??

Don't want to spend a fortune just yet as will only be out hacking for the next few months.

Also what colour tack for a bright chestnut?

Worth going to your local tack shop and seeing if they do their 'own brand' tack for something cheap.

Also try www.equestrianclearance.com

I have a bright chestnut (see sig) and I have brown tack on him - I personally think it looks better the black

Rideway and other websites do Kincade bridles which are very reasonably priced and perfectly good enough for everyday use. Otherwise look on ebay.

Definitely prefer brown tack on a chestnut horse
