Can anyone recommend a good comfort bridle?

I am looking for something soft and nicely padded with a crank and flash in brown. Also something with quite a wide nose and brow band as Bert has a big cob head.

Would really recommend Kieffer bridles. Ive got 3 of them, 2 being comfort bridles and the quality of the leather is superb. Look really smart on too!!

Stubben 1085 model, great bridle, with really thick noseband. You would have to buy a spare comfort piece to go on it though, good luck,

I've got the albion and the sabre. Personally prefer the albion because it has more padding but the quality of the leather on both is excellent.

I would usually reccomend keiffer, but think that there is a heritage bridle that matches exactly your description, you can get them from ebay, mine had a wide crank noseband and flash but i sadly sold it on with the horse, was well made and relatively cheap, about £65.

Iv just had a JB bridle arrived this morning. I bought it off ebay. Mine is a double but they might do snaffle bridles. Its exactly the same as the rhinegold bridle but with a different logo and cheaper. Its lovely and soft with a thick padded noseband, cant wait to try it on pony later.

I've got a heritage one - must admit, some of the the leather quality isnt quite as good as I would expect for english tack (eg the fastening strap on the crank noseband is rough on the back), but it looks v smart (its only the back of the leather that is poor finish, all stitching etc is super), was reasonably priced and does the job!

I also have a requisite one, which is actually nicer softer leather, proper billet fastenings, throatlash buckles on both sides etc and only cost about £30!!! But that said, ive got some other requisite stuff which is not as good - its a bit hit and miss...

But if youve got the money, its definately worth spending a bit more for a geniune Elevator, Kieffer etc one as a long term investment... the difference in quality is noticable!

I bought a heritage one, looked ok but after three weeks was tatty (and I did clean it) splashed out on an elevator bridle then wouldn't use anythng else now well worth it

I have the Sabre Cordoba, beautiful squishy headpience, noseband and browband. Lovely leather quality. Can't recommend it highly enough

(though it wasn't cheap).
