I had a beautiful pessoa bridle in a reddy havana years ago. It had yellow sticking on it with a matching martingale. It was quite fine and looked stunning on my little mare.
Not sure if they're quite the same as they were, but i loved that bridle so much!
If you're in South Wales, you're not to far away from Stroud Saddlery, who do the most incredible bespoke bridles in the country! (as used by Zara..) http://www.stroudsaddlery.co.uk/ and click on IR Bridle!
KB comfort bridle is nice if your horse is a standard size, if not beware! It is beautifully soft but will streach a little. Apparently you can now mix and match sizes but a bit late for me as I now need to pay an additional £55 for a headpiece and the noseband will never fit right. Elevator also nice and are made to measure but I've heard the leather is not quite so soft as the KB. A friend soaked her elevator in vegetable oil overnight and now its beautifully soft but not sure that's adviseable - maybe it will now streach even more! Both KB and Elevator are expensive (£200 +)
Pink equine do bridles with padded nose and browbands (with the underneatth padded bit in a different colour) in an variety of colours. Also nice dimonte browbands in loads of colours. Not too expensive. No idea about quality
I really liked the link to stroud saddlery that lifeslemons provided. None of the horses looked very smart or happy and though it sounds really pathetic it put me off! Any idea how much it is to get one of these bridles made up for you?
Another vote for the KB here. Theyre expensive but beautiful leather.
My trainer in the UK had numerous elevators and i dont think they wear very well
She always looked after her tack... it was literally cleaned daily by the staff but they looked tatty very fast imo. She also switched to the KBs after realising this too
