Hi All,

Looking to purchase a new bridle, standard cavesson but anatomical.

Want does everyone recommend, want something really good quality & nice leather.

TIA

I have an English Bridles one for my pony.
The cavesson nose is very lightly padded but is still flat if that makes sense.
It is a beautiful quality bridle.

Sabre Cordoba, every time :).

You can mix and match all parts to achieve the perfect fit. Their customer service is also impeccable!

Another for Henry James - would be my go to next time.

(Current bridle is a PSOS/HJ mix and for the price I'd go HJ every time)

Horsemanship Saddlery - lovely quality, excellent design and pretty reasonable.

I also love English Bridles but while they do a 'comfort' bridle it's not really an anatomical design - the headpiece is slightly cut back but it wasn't enough for Charlie. Beautiful bridles though.

Second the horsemanship bridle. I bought one on the recommendation of this forum, just because i felt my old bridle (sabre cordorba) was pushing against his ears, despite a much bigger browband. The change was noticeable, he used to pull the reins at every opportunity, even when on a long rein, that stopped as soon as i changed bridle

I have a Native Pony "dressage" Mix & Match padded anatomical bride for my cob, as I wanted havana leather and brass fittings, he's also XF in Nose and Brow, but FS everywhere else. Beautiful soft leather from day 1 and not loads of £££ - think it was about £120. Better quality than my Stubben, I also couldn't find
one off the peg that was chunky enough - hate seeing cobs with bootlace bridles!
