Bridle recommendations

Hello.
I need a 2nd bridle as fed up swapping bits and bobs over for schooling v hacking

I can't warrant silly money.

And I may need to mix and match sizes...cob cheek pieces, full head piece etc

Anyone got a Shires Velociti...leather ok?

I'd rather not have one where there are holes in the headpiece...current bridle has it and I think it's a daft design
 
I just got a new one from Horze it was quite inexpensive £55 I think and I am really impressed with the leather and the quality but I don’t think I like it, I am not sure I like the fit on Orbi. Managed to get the Micklem Multi from Hope Valley for an absolute steal last week so think I am swapping back to micklem.

I have a Horsemanship Saddlery bridle following a bridle/bit fitter consultation. My gelding needed a mixture of sizes. It wasn't cheap (around £100 if I remember correctly) but you do see parts come up on eBay. It's lovely quality and fits my gelding really well.

For a spare bridle, I'd look for a quality make second hand as you can wait until the right one comes along. You'll often find them with mix and match sizes as lots of people are in the same boat but even if they don't, you could buy the extra pieces separately and sell the ones you don't need probably for half the price of a new bridle. A friend bought a lovely Sabre bridle for an absolute bargain price on Ebay.
 
This is circa £70 online. And £100/£150 seems fairly reasonable. Theres some that are £300/£400 excl reins and I'm a bit...woah. is the leather/fit THAT much better
 
I really like the le mieux bridles, we have the dressage one (has detachable flash) and it’s lovely and soft x
 
Yes, I have a Velociti and it's a good bridle for the money. Not hugely "special" leather but for the price, I'm very happy with it. It's not stretched or done any of the nasty things that really cheap leather does. Plus I like the design, with the padded and shaped headpiece, and I like that you can mix and match parts if necessary. I have a Cob size hunter bridle with Pony cheekpieces and a Full browband. Even with the extra bits, it came in at under £100, and it looks smart.
 
Last year I got a premier equine bridle in the sale as they were changing the design. Paid about £30 for it (full price was around £100) and its been great. I would happily pay full price for another if I needed to. So maybe keep an eye out for the deals?
 
So the full bridle appears to fit...

Only thing is would say is some of the billets are blooming hard to do up...I hope the leather softens/gives
