I have a bridle which has the following measurements
Nose band...
Head-strap part of nose band 35"
Buckle part of nose band 7.5"
Flash strap 30"
Padded part of nose band 25" with strap (bit with holes in it!!!) 7" so 32" in total (part that goes round nose.
The noseband part is 1" with the straps being 15mm
Cheek Pieces...
9.5" from buckle to bend (as if you had a bit on it!!)
Brow Band
From end to end 17" (padded part 14")
Headpiece
Cheek piece from end to end 31.5"
Throat lash from end to end 48"
width of widest part across the head 1"
I bought this as an Extra Full bridle from the saddlers. It's a well known German make and i sold it on Ebay. However it was returned to me by the buyer as they reckon it's only a Full.
I bought it as an Extra Full, the noseband has OS stamped on the inside, i measured my full bridle and it's about an inch or so shorter on every part.
Was i right to refund as it's only a full or do you reckon they either didn't like it or it didn't fit so i should have been stricter and refused?
I want/need to relist on Ebay so i need to know what to put on the listing as i don't want to have to go through the palaver of having it returned and refunding again as i have to still pay Paypal fees and get charged for refunding so it's cost me over £10 to list the blooming thing so far!!!!
