I am tentatively thinking of getting a new bridle for Jensen, so I am seeking some recommendations or suggestions please - I've looked on various websites and there seem to be a huge variety of widths/sizes/other options :D

Jensen is (eventually) going to be a RC all-rounder type doing low level BE eventing and BD, so needs something to suit that. He doesn't need a flash or crank noseband, and personally I don't particularly like the wide flat noseband he has at the moment which I know is traditional for cobs.

Any ideas please? I am trying to post a pic of his head, but work PC is not helping....

I'm a fan of the hunter style bridles so a little biased, I think that really suits him! If you're not so keen how about a raised style? Should give a similar outline on his head but have a bit more to it.

I hope that worked. :)

I admit that my 3 yr old (who isn't even backed yet) already has 3 bridles :D to be fair his plain hunter one is a hand me down and I think I've actually had it around 15 years now! Lovely quality English leather, no idea on brand as bought it second hand myself for £15! He also has a lovely patent bridle that I actually use as his everyday bridle, figured why wait for special occasions to use his 'posh' bridle - really like this as it havana not black, made by LMe Bridlework can highly recommend them, so helpful and the quality is lovely. He then also has a lovely old rolled bridle just as it suited his dainty PBA face lol! Sorry for the big piccys!
