Bridle to Suit Roman Nose

Morning,

My new boy has a big head and quite a Roman Nose (very Gelderlander). Now he currently has a rolled bridle whilst nice, is a bit worn and does nothing for him looks wise.

Any recommendation on a bridle that woudl suit him. He is a 16hh coloured if this helps but he has a bay head with a large white blaze.

Maybe I am overly dull but I always think that roman noses suit wide flat hunter bridles, but perhaps in a redder brown than havana. Not overly exciting but very smart looking. I think Stubben used to do a similar thing - I will have a look for links

Same here. Nice wide flat noseband at least.
Stubben do have a lovely deep red colour.

I have an Evison Equine comfort bridle with plain brow band and plain flat cavesson noseband for my slightly Roman nosed cob. My bridle is in black ( to match the horse) but they do other colours.

It suits him perfectly.

to guess widths I used to play with folding bits of paper around any old noseband to the required widths and measure it.
Like wrapping it up for Xmas to a specific size if that makes sense!

Ah thanks, have tried but as I am at work now I can't get onto photo bucket so will try once I get home.
