Bridlepaths spoiled!

Grrr, our local council has decided to put road planings down on yet more of our bridlepaths, spoiling one of our canter tracks. I'm guessing its because it skirts the edge of a country park and walkers want to use it without getting their designer wellies muddy but it is such a shame that even our bridlepaths are now little better than riding on the roads

Think yourself lucky, my bridlepath has poorly maintained barbed wire on one side, some of which is hidden - I found this out when my horse got his legs caught and bolted, leaving me tangled in some of the wire whilst he shot off with a rotten fence and four strands around his legs.

It will be more to do with the degrading of the path, and maintaining it in the cheapest way possible.
