Governor snapped every part of his Kieffer bridle the day before I went away, it was getting a bit tired and one cheek piece but he truly ruined it when a horse ran into him while I was putting it on in the field. I want to get him a cheapish one for pottering around in but i'm more concerned about where my real money is headed (once I get it back from the thieving tax man). I'm sort of put off getting another Kieffer because I looked after it well and it shared the work with another bridle (hacking/jumping...ok so both are a fairly rare event) but it was looking a bit aged and crinkly after 4.5 years.

I had a look at the Albion KB, Barnsby comfort and Passier Aquarius on the internet and I wondered if anyone knew what they were like and how the sizes came up - particularly the Passier. Or any other ideas, only requirements are that it is black and fairly substantial as he's not a dainty horse!

I LOVE my Passier leatherwork, it is lush and worth EVERY pound and penny! True to size and colour. Not much else to see other than 100% reccomendation for Passier from me!

Barnsby bridles are lovely and planning on getting a grackle one for my beast! Albion ones are gorgeous aswell

I compeletly love my Passier, the leather work is fab and looks really classy.

Size wise - My Dutch Warmblood x TB has a full size Passier that fits really well. The stubben Full swamps her in cheek piece length.

The one I've got has a comfort padded headpiece with the strap for the noseband incorporated into the headpiece and you get 2 nosebands with it - a grackle and a flash so I can use the same bridle for jumping and dressage and just switch the nosebands which is cool.
