Bridleways in Wing Bucks

Hi All

Was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm trying to find out (been searching the internet in vain) if there are any bridleways behind the Ascott Estate in Wing around the Well lane, Ledburn, Mentmore Area. I used to ride across the fields and the wood behind the estate as a teenager but now can't remember if that's because it was bridleways or if it was because i was luckuy enough to be riding one of the estate horses so was allowed to ride on their land.

I would be really grateful if anyone could shed any light on this as i'd love to go back and ride around all that area.

You will need to get an os map to show you the bridleways. Or local riders may be able to help with permissive routes.

You can search for bridleways using Bing maps. You'll just need to select ordinance survey maps from the menu of map types. You need to use a computer as the mobile site doesn't have them, but it's really useful.

That's really useful to know. Don't forget that if they area blocked in any way we all need to contact our local rights of way officer for them to ensure they are clear. It is their legal duty. X
