Can anyone tell me the answer to this, when you are putting together a double bridle, does the bridoon sliphead on a double bridle go between the headpiece and the noseband pieces? So is it normal headpiece on top, then bridoon sliphead, then noseband in that order?

Just trying to learn about different types of tack.
Thanks

Ummmm (scratches head).......... daft innit, but I just can't remember!!! Mine wears a French-Link Rugby Pelham, which needs an additional bridoon headpiece; will pop out to the tack-room tomorrow mornin' and have a look if you like, but expect someone on here will have the answer by then.

Oh, thanks! I've looked elsewhere on the net but it isn't very clear. Thought I had found the answer on one site but it then called the Weymouth bit on the double bridle the "snaffle bit", and as I know it is the bridoon bit that is the snaffle and the Weymouth is the curb I don't feel inclined to trust the answer it gave.
