Hey, does any1 have any gd ideas on how 2 save money 4 livery?? I am getting a horse soon, and I want him/her 2 have gd quality things, so is there anything i can do 2 save money on livery and other stuff??
unfortunately horses are expensive. My idea would be making out a plan sheet of all the costs (and hidden costs) involved in having a horse to establish whether you can really afford one. At 13 presumabley you wont be paying for much yourself so sit down with your parents and discuss it!!
Echo above. When first starting out in horses, you cannot afford to be fussy. I have had to pay for my own horses for the last 4 years and nearly all of my tack is 2nd hand, begged, burrowed but thankfully not stollen.
I really wouldn't focus on quality. I would focus on things that fit the horse properly
yh, thats sounds kl, how can u tell if the 2nd hand tack is in-tact?? also, is there anything I can do at the livery yard 2 get a discount?? also, how did u know i was 13??
Cool, thank you guys!! I have taken down notes, and so far, it does seem too expensive!! I'll just save my money a bit more carefully, I just need to learn how to budget my weekly allowance!!
