It's usually open for schooling most of the year. I don't have any pics but it looked nice although I don't know much about Novice courses, we jumped some of it schooling so it can't be that bad!
I have from years ago! They are bloodhounding round there soon. It is a nice bold course - rides big but isn't too technical. I would choose it as a first novice! Horses need to be fit though as the last hill is a killer. Also sj is big - as it always is round here!

Hoping Hattie will be ready for the novice there as our Pony club area eventing qualifier is there this year and id like to think she might be ready for the open so want to see what im letting myself in for!!

yes it sj used to be but I think s of e is bigger than it used to be -so probably not now. As long as you have jumped round some newc you'll be fine. The problem with pony club opens for area is they will put some be intermediates in! - I would think brightling will cause huge trouble for area as it rides quite big so you need a scopey fit pony!
