Was the winter dressage championships at Medstead today - prelim 17. Have never ridden in a long arena before so was a little nervous about that!
I changed his bit back to the KK two days ago and its made a real difference, hes so light and easy in it!
Anyway, today was pouring with rain and wind - saturated!!! Sooooo wet but despite this he warmed up nicely
Went into the test and he's never done a test so nicely before, complete control, really light in the hand, in a gorgeous outline, really good AND the best bit - on my score sheet 'heavy on the forehand' wasnt even mentioned!! wahoo its only taken two years to get him off his forehand lol!!
Anyway the results - 65.42% and came fifth
soooo chuffed and really encouraged! Very proud mummy!
