I was so proud of my horsey today.

I always hack out with company but today OH unable to ride so I thought right I cant rely on others all the time and will try and get out on my own. I said to OH I will probably be back in 5 minutes ! Anyway my mare went out with no problems, very good on road and on the moor so we went for a long ride. Really enjoyed it and boosted my confidence so will definitely be going out again. My OH was waiting at the gate for me, I think he was a bit worried as we were out so long

Well done! Its nice to go alone sometimes, gives you both a bit of time to chill ,I usually end up singing or chatting away to myself!

There is nothing worse than having to rely on other people to go out with. I had a mare that wouldn't leave the yard alone, so could only ride when there was someone else going out. At that time i wasn't working so had all day to ride, but never could.
My boy is great alone and in company. Sometimes it is so nice just to tack up and go off together, you can be as long as you want and go wherever you want. It's great
