Just wanted to let you all know, I had a fab lesson with 4faulter last night. I cant beleive how well my horse can actually go! Ive never had a flat lesson on Arch b4, its just always been jumping and I enjoyed it soooo much, really looking forward to my next lesson! Turns out Archie's back does need looking at, theres some thing going on there! He's going to have his saddle checked this Friday and I want a back person to come see him aswell, so if anyone can recommend a good back person in the Northants area, that would be fab.

Glad you enjoyed it. You certainly seemed to be smiling a lot (always a good sign) with the occasional look of total surprise at archies reaction. I do love the surprised look on riders faces when they first feel their horse really working forward without tension.
I must admit though I was under the impression I was comming over to do a jump lesson

What test are you doing in june? Now I know where the 2 of you are I need to develop a training plan to get you where you want to be.

Haha, I havent stopped going on about my lesson and how well Arch went.
In a way Im kinda glad we didnt jump, coz we defo got some work to do on the flat, dont you think?

Not sure what test we're doing next month, I know its a really easy one though!

From what you've said about previous jumping lessons and what I saw I do think think some time spent on the flat would not be wasted when it comes to jumping.
