Took my new horse, Molly, (had her 2 and half weeks) for a long hack last night (8 miles) to a village pub, where my friend and I met our husbands and the horse box, to be driven home.
Our horses were stars, depsite being pelted with hail stones, flashed by lightening and rumbled by thunder!
Oh and stampeded by a herd of young bullocks, but luckily they were the other side of a fence from us. As always there was some horse-eating-monster hiding in a few hedges but other than that Molly was fab. She has totally given me back my once-lost confidence.
Just want to share, that despite arriving at the pub very wet, we had a lovely time and Molly is turning into my horse of a lifetime!
And here she is, looking cute, in case anyone missed my previous posts....
