Brilliant warm up....crap dressage!!

Did Reaseheath today and Whisk warmed up beautifully. Light,responsive and reasonably well behaved!! Got in the arena and he tensed up and behaved more like a racehorse than a dressage horse. Narrowly missed leaving the arena on more than one occasion!!! Then to rub salt in the wound took me an hour and a half to load him!!!! Why do we bother?
