Hi, my mare is having arthramid into her RF coffin joint for early arthritic changes next week.
Steroid were very effective but didnt last long.
Can anyone tell me what you did after the 48hr rest period? Walking only or gradually start trot etc.
Interested in experiences with all joints as hoping to get her hocks done with it too in future. (Steroid currently lasts 16months in her hocks).
im not sure if its best to go really slowly or get them back into working correctly sooner than later , thanks in advance!
She has 24hr turnout all year round and is ridden usually 4-6 days a week hacking and schooling including polework.
