Hi everyone
just a quick question. Is it harder bringing an
11 year old back into work? I have been offered my old mare to buy.
She was profesionaly (can't spell) backed then turned away to become a broodmare.
She has had a lovely colt but unfortuantly rejected him at first but
is all going very well now. So now the owner has asked if I want her back
when the foal is old enough. Can anyone give any tips. I will have help bringing her back as a ridden horse. She is lovely she was born with me. Very well breed crabbet Arab. (sorry if the post has jumbled up I'm doing the post from my phone)

Thank you in advance! Xx

It may take time to get her fitness levels up, condition back and schooled. But it shouldn't be too hard, if you just start with light lunging, gentle hacks etc and build up as she improves.

I would love to have her again though. Although I'd have to fight my grandad for her lol jk. I would like to bring her back into work again. Love her! Xx
