One of my girls has been prescribed a 10 day course of Doxycycline. I gave her her dose this afternoon -syringed in down her and she definately swallowed it, put her rug on, tuned her out so by this time it was a good 10 minutes later. She wouldn't graze and then all of a sudden she put her head down and brought the Doxyclcline back up.
I know horses can't vomit so what is happening?
