One of the Facebook groups i'm in is involved with rescuing horses in need.
I posted an ad on Dragon Driving on there at the beginning of March - this sparked interest in the site and another member found this advert - http://www.dragondriving.co.uk/horseforsale-31977.html
A couple of the ladies in the group decided to buy the mare as everyone felt so sorry for her, the look in her eye on that one photo breaks your heart.
Anyway....I have just logged unto the group tonight to find out that the poor mare, named Savannah, has died.
Apparently she had been pregnant but the foal had died inside her and just left. Sadly Savannah lost her life as a result.
Brings a real tear to my eye, how can people be so cold hearted, even from the photos in the advert you can tell she is in a bad way. Just glad she got a few weeks of proper care and correct vet treatment at the end of her unnecessarily short life.
No real point you this post, just with everything I've gone through in the last week with Chico it just saddened me that some horses are thought so little of that people can let this happen.
