Wee question again!!!

Is the Blue Water ring the big one? If so are the others to the side of it??? Just never been there and want to know where I am going etc......

When I went last year(only to watch

), there were 2 rings next to each other, one by the stands and the other by the exercise area, but both were acessed by the same entrance from the exercise area. I can't rememver which one was the blue water though so not much help, but it won't make much difference really!

It is quite an occaision, but most horses seemed to cope well, which final have you qualified for? I watched the Elementary Open and Restricted and it was very interesting to see the difference. The professional seemed to ride that bit extra for the occaision where as a lot of the Restricted riders seemed to play it very safe and the ones that went on to win/be placed where those who went for it. Of course thats easy to say when your just spectating!!

I am only doing Novice Restricted... I shall go for it though.. nothing to lose! If all fails so be it I suppose!!! I have to gamble and if it all fails then I shall learn from it no doubt!!!

There are two rings at the Nationals, the Blue Waters and the Rock Cottage which are both in the main surfaced arena along with the riding in.

The Blue Waters arena is nearest the main stands - so could be called the "main" arena as that is the one that most people have the best view of.

Rock Cottage is alongside - still a good view from the main grandstands but best view for that is from the open free seating.

The warm up arena is beyond the Rock Cottage and the nearest to the horsewalk (reasonably enough). There is an archway entrance to the competition arenas which is between the Blue Waters and Rock Cottage so that a horse coming in or out doesn't disturb a horse (or rider) competing in the arena.
