hello dressage bods,

I'm thinking of joining British Dressage as I'd like to do some affiliated competitions with Missie over the winter. However I'm not sure what group I would be? When I read the definitions I thought I might have to be a Group 6, as I've got points at BE intermediate since 1994 (probably about 1, in around 1998, but still!) - but then during the application process it says that if you've never competed in affiliated dressage before (which I haven't) you'll be a Group 8...?

Could somebody please clarify this for me?
Thankies!

oh poo... that means I'll have to compete in open novice sections doesn't it? we will stand absolutely no chance!!

how annoying for the sake of 1 point gained 8 years ago!

I'm not being funny but do your BE records online go back that far? Could you just plead ignoorance. I know several amatures that are not in the groups they should be in despitemore recent BE points.

Have to confess that had occurred to me S_J...!!!

I just looked online - the records did used to go back until at least 1998 but they seem to have disappeared
