Hi wasnt sure where to post this as the career forum has closed.

Ok so I work in a trekking centre in Ireland i am the senior rider leader and riding instructor (i am the only one that works there all year round and when the summer comes i am the one who organises the rest of the staff).

I currently have my Bhs stage 3 and ptt, first aid, child protection and a couple of Irish certificates in horsemanship and teaching that are only recongnised in Ireland. Everything I have is enough for the trekking centre to have insurance and to pass AIRE (association of irish riding establishment) inspections which is a must for a trekking centre in Ireland.

My question is, would it be worth doing these exams? I do not have to do assistant ride leader exam because I have certain BHs exams already which means I only have to sit the tourism ride leader and the riding centre manager exams
.
Would i only be wasting my money or would it beneficial to me in the future??? My boss has the ride leader exam and he said it wasnt hard. I dont plan on leaving my current yard but if I ever do and try and get a job in another trekking centre would having these exams be a plus or would it make no difference to you??

And if anyone has done these exams are they as formal as the normal BHS exams?
My boss sat them when they first started doing these exams in Ireland and said it has changed. Were they very hard?? Not many people over here have these qualifications so its hard to get someone to talk to who has done the exams recently.

Thanks in advance for your help
