British farriers in France?

Does anyone know of British farriers in France? I have asked this before.

I am currently on my fourth farrier in 6 years!!! Every time he pares the feet on my three year old she is lame for about 10days. Other English friends have the same problem.

All my horses are starting to look low at heel.

I am in Maine et Loire so looking for a farrier who visits Normandy - Saumur area.

Sorry, I don't know of any British farriers based in France but my farrier and a colleague go over to shoe there regularly - they might be able to help you:

I am in Brittany, and have just started having Ian Whatley. so far so good. I am very pleased with him and his skill & knowledge.
I know he seems to travel all over, but I'm not sure of the exact areas, but well worth contacting him.

We have one. But he's too far away from you. Next time I have him round I'll ask him if he knows of any friends or colleagues in your area. He regularly travels to the UK for his farrier supplies, passing by your way. If he's interested I will PM you.

No personal recommendation but a friend told me of Tim Godfrey who spends 3/4 of his time in France in Vienne (les Serailleres south of Poitiers) so might well travel up to you.
