I am on such a high.

On Saturday the team Jess runs in WON their division at the BFA Summer Championships. It was all down to the last race in the division. If we won we would be first and if we lost we would be third.

we won the first leg (of 5) then I sent Jess too early and got a light.(which meant I had to re run Jess and we lost)

I was mortified but had to keep everything together, which we did and we won the next 2 legs so we were 1st.

YAY, we had a brilliant weekend as well. We took 4 teams and 3 of them won their divisions and the other came 3rd. It was very nice to meet you as well Goya and well done on your success.
It was John from the Alpha Dogz who did the photography. I'll post the link to his website when the pics go up. He said it'd be tuesday or wednesday.

Didn't know my dear offspring had posted on facebook!
Thanks kate and basher. I'll look forward to the link and congratulations again. Our other teams had 2 seconds, two fourths as far as I can remeber. It's all a bit of a blur as i am sooooo tired, thanks to the party on Saturday night.I was celebrating big time!

Many congratulations both of you

How cruel, mocking poor Captain Slow, he is just making sure he gets things right

When I was doing agility my bitch could never beat a collie (needless to say) but she was very accurate and was the lynch pin of the clubs Crufts team 2 years running, fast isn't always best

My Lab is called "slow Beau" as she is sooooooo slow but has achieved 85 points so far in flyball and used to nearly always get a clear round in agility,(as long as I got the commands correct!) often getting a place as those whizzy collies made errors. I used to call it the "tortoise and the Hare" situation.
A bit off the point of the initial post, but I do know what you are saying.
Thanks everyone.

Congratulations!!
I saw your names in the Flyball newsletter as well so double congratulations!!
Our starters are still doing well, hope to run Pippa in division next summer season.

Thank you Dizzykizzy. Appreciated.
Thrilled to hear Pippa is going well. I'm having a few "training issues" with my new dog, Skye at the moment--she has got the bit about running up and down the lanes but seems to not understand the need to trigger the box! I'm sure she will get it soon, fingers crossed.
Where are you going next? I'm at Stoneleigh a week on Saturday, then Shackerstone, then Sutton Fields.
