Hey, was just wondering what the heights for both these classes are at the finals, my little mare has qualified for both and was wondering if they will be much bigger than the second rounds?
ta muchly!!! xx

I did the Discovery a few years ago and it was slightly smaller than the 2nd rounds, but bigger than the 1st rounds.

I had a great time but was very dissapointed when one of the bigger classes over ran in the main ring and we got bumped to the outer ring for both days. I didn't qualify for the weekend final so never rode in the big rings, the outer ones weren't great and the jumps looked very ordinary, in the pictures they actually could be at any local show on grass.

If you do get in the main rings they are really smart, the indoor actually had a fountain in the corner which was the downfall of many!

Well done qualifying and have a great time!

Well done for qualifying I think the BN final is 1m05/1m10 in the 1st round and the Discovery is 1m10/1m15 in the first round. The finals are straight in the indoor ring and there is now an indoor warm up class on the Sunday for you.

I've qualified my mare for the british novice final, so i was wondering the same thing as you. Does anyone know what day the british novice final usually is? I've qualified for the 1m as well, and not sure if to travel or stay.

There is no longer a fountain in the indoor! Good luck at scope, I will be watching :) I only live round the corner and not jumping this year as mare in foal and 4 year old not ready for 4 year old final due to growing pains! Hope the suns out that week
