British Open at Gatcombe

I watched about half the class show jump and (as can be seen from the results) it was causing chaos! I think there were only two double clears in the end? Ruth Edge and Buck Davidson?

So pleased that Ruth Edge won - although I was hoping for Paul Tapner to move higher after James Robinson came off in the water then Buck Davison got eliminated!

I was stood at the final fence as Paul Tapner came over it, He was telling himself off for checking too much!

I hadn't seen him properly until today, and agree with you completely! Tried to get a photo of him coming over the last, but camera is pants and I got a shot of the fence and a horse's tail, far left of the screen!

, there was a lot of very good horsemanship on display and I think I was photographing the water during the peek fall time during the intermediate. Poor poor Madame Follie Bergere & Polly Williamson, I hope they are ok today as that was a heavy fall.
I also hope Claire Garlick isn’t too bruised after Lowmoor Brooklyn left a leg behind when jumping nessie! She seamed a really lovely person with the biggest smile in over the previous fences and even after she got up.
