British Open Show Jumping Championships

Is it worth going? I have never been, and as I failed to get tickets to Olympia, thought this could be pretty good...

British Open Show Jumping Championships I believe are far better than Olympia. I was there last year I it was fantastic. The best show jumpers in England & Europe are all there so the standard is of the highest order. The venue is much better than Olympia, facilities are great, shopping is good. You'll really enjoy it.

I forgot to say...The last Sunday is probably one of the best days to go.....the final is on that evening........however if you prefer the Puissance then I think that is on the Saturday evening

I went last year. I've probably been to too many show's like that, I found it boring.

The shopping was good though!

Seeing some of the best riders in the world, jumping some of the best horses, around massive tracks is boring?????

I went when it was in Sheffield at the Hallam arena. At that point, the SJ was brilliant but there wasn't enough room for the shopping. Probably why they moved.

Yes! I went last year (on the Sunday) and had a brilliant time. Much better than Olympia IMO (although shopping was pretty poor). We're going again this year, front row seats and exactly the same seats as last year - freaky or what?! (we should have our names put on them).

Really worth it I think.

I'm going for the first time this year - Sheffield was always far too far to travel from Devon!

I love HOYS so am sure I'll enjoy this!
