British Open

Has anyone been to the British open at the NEC Birmingham. I am off there on Thursday. Never been before just wondered what is was like. The reason I am going is that I won the tickets, cant even remember what i entered but got a letter a couple of weeks ago saying I had won competition. Quite funny really as i am not really into show jumping! Much prefer stressage or 3 day eventing. But hey a free day out, not complaining but just thought I would ask. Thanks

I am there thursday...and friday lol greedy me! Its a good day out. Plenty of shopping and not just showjumping! I love the scurry ponies!

Shopping that sounds goooooood. In need of new jodpurs mine are nearly indecent. Gloves think some of them needed. Cant wait, now looking forward to it.

I took keen s/j daughter last year..very good day out, going again for finals day on Sunday. Top 10 british s/js ...plus other entertainment and shopping. Very good entertainment and atmosphere , good day out.
