British Showjumping membership query- horse reg help please!

A query to all the wise ones

Madam has now gone out on loan (sob) but her new "guardian" will be taking her out showjumping, so we need to re-register her BS. Can we do this without changing her ownership? Or would I need to regsiter as an owner if I wanted to keep her in my name?

You need to be a member - it can be the cheaper non jumping membership if you're not competing - for her to be in your name with you as the owner. You can't let your membership lapse and still formally own her at BS shows, if that makes sense? Hope I picked up the question correctly
