British showjumping questions

Hi, I'm going to hopefully be joining british showjumping next January and was wondering what category I would be in for membership? I turn 16 on 3rd January so would I be an associate member? Also, do you enter on the day of the competition?

You will be a junior for next season, an adult will need to be a member to register the horse or pony you ride, the following year when you are 17 you will be an associate member.
Normally you can enter on the day, check the schedules, some will offer a discount for pre entering and some will only take a set number in the early classes if they are very busy.
