My horse is bred by him out of a TB mare. I know he is a nice Stallion and produces horses that go onto a number of spheres but I was just wandering if any of you had a horse by him and what you did with the resulting ned?

Also what do people think of him as a Sire?

I don't have a horse by him and I've not known any that were older than 2/3yrs, but I worked with him at the old Broadstone Stud. I always liked this horse - he could be a little quirky, but he was such an athlete! So light on his feet and one heck of a technique over a fence IMO.

Very Nice, i have a pony mare now 6yr by him that i bred myself shes lovely, but she is spitting image of her mother. She move and Jumps but then so to did mum so how would i now if it was daddy.

She is sharp but then so was mum!!! shes a taller clone of her mother but less tempermental

I loved Ladys Man thats why i went to him but i had hope he would add more height to a 14.1h pony mare but no luck really she only made 14.2h

Personally i really like BLM and would use him again.

He is a really lovely horse - fab temperament and as has been said really athletic with great technique over a fence. A real pocket rocket! He wouldn't have complemented my mare shape and build wise, or i'd have used him like a shot, as can't fault his temp or ability.

My firend has a horse by him, she evented up to pre-novice as a amateur but unfortunately he developed a bone cyst in his stifle (I think) so he has been retired as a 10yo. But he was a nice horse, good temperament, quite lanky but athletic and has a nice pop!

I know she had heard that his offspring had the reputation for being a bit quirky but her horse was always pretty easy going, I know welton ambassador was his grand sire too, and he very much looks like him, but I'm not sure which side of his breeding that was!

I had a filly by him that I purchased from Broadstone Stud whilst it was still open.

I was very naive at the time, should have taken someone experienced with me.

She was a lovely natured mare but very cow hocked, didnt come any better either so sold her to someone who wanted her dams bloodline.

I have a mare by him who we bought from Broadstone Stud as a 2 year old. She is a lovely mare and a pleasure to do. Competed in dressage up to PSG and has a lovely techique over a fence.
