Hi, had anyone done Broadway BE80? Just wondering if it would be a suitable re-introduction to eventing for me and my horse (who can be a bit 'special' at times!) after a few years away from eventing.

If not, which events in the south west (we are Swansea area) would people recommend?

I've not ridden the XC there, but done some Riding Club dressage there, it's very hilly and the ground can be quite hard, but the fences I saw looked very inviting

Nice course, sj very straight forward too.
Nice pull uphill out of the start box which I think helps get you kicking and seeing nice shots over the first 4 or 5 fences xc.

I went as a spectator last autumn. I thought it was lovely with plenty of educational fences but nothing too alarming.
and a young horse would learn quite a lot from the course.

Horse needs to be fit as after the start it was a long pull up to the top of the course and then you come back down again, but the course ran across the slope, rather than straight up and down so you are doing a zig-zag.
