hey, im new on here! lol

anyway, had novice at broadway today,
v. pleased with his dressage, because hes a big horse &is very sencitive. we got 36, and there were lots in the 40's so yay.
sj was awful, i didnt like the course, and had 3 down, sj isnt my strong point, and normally we have 2 down, but i only had one down at pony club open area, and also at stonar ISODE (run as BE novice)we only had one down, so i hoped we would have a nice round. but unfortunately i hadnt sj'd him much since stonnar, and yeah it didnt go to plan. then clear xc inside time of course

hes a xc machine!!
oh and hes 16 3hh chestnut gelding, 7 years, called bourne belvedere,, and im katherine, im 15 and im short :P

came 11th, so very annoyed, because if id had our normal 2 down we would have been 7th and got a point. so yeah. v. dissapointed.

dressage photo (please ingore my inside leg, he falls in chronically on left rein, lol )

anyway hello to you all

If your horse is 16.3, then you don't look short at all.
Well done - is that your last event now, or have you more to come.

Hi by the way!

Fiona

yes the pic in my siggie is at the pc champs.
and thanx chestunt monty
and yes the photo is an opticle illusion, hes a big 16 3hh, and im 5ft 2. this one may give you more of an idea (and bear in mind this is dressage length, and i ride long for dressage

Hi there, I love your horse, how's he bred? He's just my sort! Well done at Broadway, eventing is so full of if only's! I am normally saying either 'if only we hadn't put in a buck in the dressage' or 'if only we hadn't knocked that show jump' one day it all comes together!

yup he sure is! lol

and mil1212:
thanx, erm well hes by achtermann and be bop bella and hes TBxTrahkehner, with a bit of shire somewhere ROFL!
well i hope it does come together...:S

x

I agree the showjumping course could have been better. It wasnt big (im sure it was much bigger in may?) but the lack of run up to jumps made it quite testing as do the hills. I thought 8 to 9 being up hill was particualry difficult.

A almost day is disapointing but a least you know you are both capable of a placing, lot of Show jumping over the winter and you'll be racking up the points next season. Well done and Lovely horse

hey and thanx guys.
the sj was technically up to height. i walked it and they were all 1m10 (except number 1 & 2) and there were the two at 1m15. but meh novice for belv is small anyway. lol
but there was to be fair only 1 true parallel so it wasnt intimidating.
anyway thanx, and yeah lots of dressage and sj over winter
HI!

He's lovely, sounds like a good day - it's so hard to get it all perfect on the same day isn't it!!
Goodluck for Aldon
