So looking to get some Brogini long boots as the Ariat Bromont are slightly too short and wide

So does any one have the £150 ones I think they are called model 2131??

And does anyone have the £295 ones??

If so whats are the major differences between the two other than the leather of course

Also do they come up wide/slim tall/short??

I need a size 7 but the sizes go from 6.5 to 7.5??

I also need 34cm calf and extra extra height which is 49cm

Also does anyone have any pics of them on??

Boots can look so much different when on as oppose to a pic off the Brogini website!!!

Thanks in advance!!

I've just got a pair (literally about 1 week ago). I went for the £295 pair as I felt the leather was softer but I don't think there were any other major differences in style. I looked at them at Badminton (delivery was very delayed due to problems with their leather supply apparently). However the wait was worth it as they are soooo comfortable!

Because I went to their stand they measured me up properly but actually I think my own measurements pretty much matched theirs - I am quite short with very small feet, the size 3 foot still has room for a thicker pair of socks in winter so I would say they are fairly standard on foot size. The shorter length means I can jump in them without problems. I went for the laced field boots as I think they look better. Sorry, don't have any photos yet....

I couldn't find any other off the shelf boots which fitted me, I have 2 pairs at home which just didn't work out so I wish I'd ordered some Brogini earlier, would have been cheaper in the long run.

Ooh thats interesting ... I just rang my saddler as they stock them and they said they had stopped stocking them as every single pair sold broke!!!

I was gutted!!

Although I haven't heard of any problems and she has advised me to go for de Niro but they are rather expensive !!

I spent ages trying on boots, and had virtually given up, then found the broginis. I've had mine about 10 yrs now and they're fab.

I've got very skinny ankles and they're the only ones that are a good fit.

I have the more expensive ones but would deffo recommend them. They also polish up well and I regularly get comments on how shiny my boots are at shows :)

Here's some pics

Wow they are really nice !!

I went to my saddler today and tried some de Niro boots ...

They were a perfect fit around the calf but a little short but they do
taller ones I think

I then went to my other saddler
who have Brogini and got all the way there and they were shut!!

They are never shut on a saturday!! Lots of wasted fuel !

I got measured for some and need ....

33/34cn calf and 51cm height !!

Extra extra height is 49cm

Well I shall try them and see!!

I would definitely give them a try on if you can. I fell in love with them the second I put them on - and TBH I didn't have as many problems with breaking them in as I have done with other boots I had before them. But then when I had these first I used to ride with thick socks on as a matter of course - so maybe I just didn't notice!! lol :)

I don't know what my measurements are - but I don't think I can be far off your measurements by the sound of it

Flo-Bell -
I will definitely give the Brogini a try
I'm going to go back to my saddler on Monday to try them, they aren't open Sundays

The de Niro are too expensive but the women said as they are made by same company as Brogini size wise should be the same so if I try the extra small calf with extra extra tall height they should be ok!!

I prefer the look of the Brogini as they look better for working hunter etc

Sorted!

Some of you may have seen my other post on getting mountain horse supreme high rider .... well....

i went to try some on and then my saddler rang MH there and then and they arent making any more in my size until summer 2012 :(

sooo.....

she rang Brogini and told them my measurements.....

she measured me at 33cm calf and 19" height

they said they had some in that size and they are the £295 ones!

so i have them ordered

as they are in stock they should be here friday!!

excited!!
