Ok, Last thread on riding boots. I have whittled it down to 2:

Brogini long boots

http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/mvf/store/products/brogini-long-leather-riding-boot-black

OR

Mountain horse high rider sportive

http://www.rideaway.co.uk/mountain-...utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=purenet_feed

These boots are for 'best' and summer riding only, for local sj/xc and poss dressage. Which ones?! Please vote now (and tell my why ;))

Thank you!!

ETA:Would love to buy more expensive ones but the ones above are within my budget (just!) and both are in the local horse shops so I can actually try them on...and we don't have a great choice down here :(

Brogini, far more elegant than the clumpy mountain horse ones (but always look better if you get the field boot style with front laces) Or your could get some ariat bromonts, they are lovely!

brogin 100%, mountain horse ones look like wellies

...Depends on what type you get but, its the same with all boots.

I muchly prefer MH as there trust worthy and they break in easily. Not so curtain about the Brogini as my friend only had hers for a couple of days and the zip broke. Suppose it can happen with any boot really!
But again, going with MH and Dublin Aristocrats!

jester_ben if you're referring to me, then the zip on my brogini's lasted a year not a few days hun! I wear them every day and never clean them so it's probably my own fault anyway.
But another vote for Brogini ^ best boots I've had by far... although I have my eye on a pair of De Niro's next!

I would have the brogini out of choice, but I have fat calves so I had to go for the MH ones. The MH are lovely but not as attractive for showing and dressage.

I prefer the brogini ones to those mountain horse ones however... i have a pair of mountain horse richmond high riders which are nearly exactly the same as the supreme ones posted above that were too expensive.

What size shoe are you and how tall if you dont mind me asking as the ones i have come in a childrens version which are 146 quid and are gorgeous.

I have Brogini, had them a year and they still look like new (although they are ONLY for riding in!) I rode in my yard boots the other day and YUCK I felt like I was riding in slippers, my leg was all over the place...
