She looks like she belongs!

I'll get Fodhla to have a word re training you to provide pink accessories, onesies. bathrobes etc.
He has actually said a harness would be easier. I’m not sure about pink sparkles though. I might whip her down to Proper Job on Dartmoor, they have loads of second hand ones for sale.

Climb over and run off?
You can’t run off from our yard anyway, well she’d have to climb railings… never say never! But anyway no she just wanted to eat cat shit under the hedge, she never gets time to have a proper session under it in the morning. 🤦‍♀️.
She is in season as well, but only early days at the moment.

ETA exactly why she was shut in the store room rather than the 100% secure kennel is another question… I wasn’t at home.

Well beagle… now known as ‘Hotpants’ is madly in season and don’t we know it. Poor Scout.
On the plus side I’ve stopped sulking about having her and she’s an absolute sweetheart.
She’s walking really well now, she still limps at a trot but looks great overall and is losing the muscle wastage she had over her rump after the injury.
Tonight Scout is on the sofa with me and she is tied to OH. 😆

Well Beagle is mainly good. She has a fair bit of off lead time now, in designated areas. She’s generally obedient and completely steady to deer and stock but she does like to draw the hedges. (As people assume the worse no we don’t let her off in fields with stock). She comes when she’s ready, but she does turn up.
Not so good is she had a vet check today prior to spaying. She’s got a lump in her mouth that is very fast growing, and a small mammary lump. The vets will take both those off while she is under and give her toenails a proper cut, rather then my snip here and there strategy.
We aren’t having them analysed, if they come back then that will be it.

Well Beagle had all her bits, inner and outer, removed last week.
She has had a shunt in her mammary lump hole, which is now removed, and her spay scar is not healing very well and is a bit infected.
All of that is being dealt with but Scout is completely obsessed with her, licking, sniffing and mounting. He is very over excited. It’s extended to Pen and he is weird around her as well.
Any ideas? I wonder if she smells of infection, but if so why is it arousing?

Infected/impacted anal glands can confuse male dogs so maybe infection can also!
Thank you. I was cheekily hoping a vet would reply! Maybe that is it. It’s very boring although she just ignores him it pees me off.
She’s back next week for a check up, unless I am worried and take her in Saturday so maybe I’ll bring it forward to be on the safe side.
