broken reins - where to get fixed

I get them in from local saddlery shops to repair all the time, as you say with the cost of postage it is probably cheaper to buy new. IF there is a saddler at the shop then ask them to do it, it's a very common repair to do!
Oz :)

I know of an excellent saddler/repairman in Malton, Yorks. Maybe because there are lots of racing yards around there he seems to just work from his shop. He is very cheap, much cheaper than buying new. I found out about him by asking around though.
