The only thing I would really recommend is the Aircast A60 ankle support. Bloody amazing!
When you start walking in fields you just dont trust your ankle and are permenantly paranoid it will turn on divets etc but you feel so secure with this support. Boots, I have ariat devon pros to ride in but to be honest I dont think theyr are v supportive to walk in

Cheers for that, I was looking into ankle supports! Found loads of cheap ones but often the case, you get what you pay for!! That is one thing I have been worrying about, going over on my ankle..... eeeeek it makes me cringe just thinking about it
