Broken tree in a saddle

Usually broken in an accident by horse rolling on it.

Cost a lot to fix - £200+

However if it was a Bates, wintec or Pessoa they often have guarantees on their trees.

not worth having a tree repaired as the repair is seldom any good, causing lumps and bumps on the tree which can cause damage to the horse, you can have a new tree put in for about £200 so that would be my recommended option. Speak to your saddle manufacturer and ask them how much it would cost. I would go direct to the manufacturer rather than the retailer.

There are many causes of a broken tree. It is not usually a good idea to try to repair it, but you can get it replaced. Cost will depend partly on the type of tree, and you would be looking at around £200+, as others have said.
