If i email them, is it likely I could get a replacement zip?

Also, I was given them as a present, so would I have to produce a receipt or name where they were purchased?

Thanks

A friend of mine sent hers back to Ariat cos zip broke and they split. They were really arsey and said there was evidence she had been wearing them round the yard and working in them(der I thought this is what they were for!!)
They did reluctantly give her a new pair but said they werent made for wearing in horse muck and wee, as it rots them. And they wouldnt replace them again. Good luck though

Doubt it knowing Ariat

I had two pairs of the zip up ones and a zip went pretty quickly in both pairs (I thought the first time it was just a dodgy pair

) so I have got the lace-up ones now

My Ariat chaps broke back in February (popper came off). I gave them back to the shop, who sent them to Ariat. It took them THREE MONTHS to finally repair them and send them back!!! They were in good condition so obviously not over-used, but it did seem they were reluctant to repair them. Not overly impressive considering I spent £80 on the darned things in the first place...

The zip in my daughter's Ariats broke after 6 months. I still had the receipt so took them back to the shop I bought them at. They sent them to Ariat who sent my daughter a new pair of boots! So a big 'well done' to Ariat.

I did take them to a cobbler first who wanted to charge about £30 to put in a new zip which I thought was a lot but I suppose it's a fiddly job.

I got them at the beginning of the year but they were bought in the US and given as a present so have no receipt unfortunatly

I emailed to ask and said I did not expect for boots that cost well over £150 to break after 6 months!!

mine went on my springbucks and were less than a year old, ariat were very helpful they asked me to send them back directly to them and they replaced them for me no probs
so from me a BIG THUMBS UP TO ARIAT

angandstar - did you tell them where you bought them/

They have replied (very quickly and very politely!) saying i can freepost return them but I don't have any proof of purchase, would this be a problem? they have asked me to send with contact details, details of problem and where i bought them :S

I got my ariats last year, they split this year and the laces (grassmere) broke.
I sent them back and they sent me a brand new pair. Couldnt fault their custom services, they emailed back very quickly when I enquired about what I should do.

I got two zips sent through in about two days of emailing them. i have had the boots for three years. but i will most likely be buying a new pair of boots anyway.

tey were very helpful.
