My boy is finally getting better after 7weeks of being ill, which was diagnosed a week ago as bronchiolitis. He's on his last day of antibiotics as there was a low grade infection present.
My vet did mention that this may be a more permanent thing under the 'rao' umberella, and may need steroids....
I'm hoping that its not going to come to this, but does anyone have any experience of bronchiolitis?
He's on ventipulmin and sputolosim, and I've still not seen any snot.... although apparently there is some in there.
To begin with I couldn't turn him out for more than 2 hours, as this would increase his respiration rate to 30ish, but I've finally built up to 6hours out, with resps of about 26
I know hes much better than he was, and because of that I feel he's no longer ill, but know he's not right. Just starting to think about where I go from here, as you may have gathered from my other posts my vets seem clueless and I have to push them in the right directions
Thanks for reading!!!
