Ben had bronchoscopy and broncheo-alveolar lavage on Monday and producing copious green snot and yuckiness, not responded to 2 types antibiotics

Results show that his neutrophil count is 75% in the lung washout (should be less than 10%) and this indicates severe infection or airways disease.

My vet believes he as both at the moment due to his box rest

But the problem is he is supposed to have steroid jabs to help his leg (last chance at getting him sound) but he cant have them whilst he has an infection!!

Oh Sparkly- i'm glad he's had the lavage and now you know something but it sucks that he's not responded to the ABs

Fingers crossed that he picks up soon so he can have his steroids for the lameness

How's he doing/coping with the box rest? Is he getting out at all? What is the ventilation like where his stable is? (is it in a barn or on a yard)
