Bronzes - can anyone help me?

I get annoyed by people who claim "the dole" and have no intention of finding a job

My Grandmother (who I am proud to say will turn 100 at the beginning of June!!

) Has given me some money. This can only be spent on something 'worthwhile' (no horsebox then...) and I thought that I would like a bronze made of K.

The thing is I have no idea how much this would cost and where I could start enquiring about it. I have always had a bit of a thing about bronzes and would so love to have one of my boy, but just don't know where to start...

Anyone have any ideas? Failing the bronze idea I would love to have a portrait done of him, which I think would be easier.

So, I thought I would chuck a poll in:

bronzes cost an absolute fortune... have a gorgeous pencil picture of my horse on my wall watching me now. captures him perfectly

A small bronze commission costs from about 3k upwards, slightly less if you want just a head.

It would be a very lovely thing to have done, but just like with a painting you need to make sure you pick the right person to do it, so that they interpret your horse well.
