Friend is looking for a yard to take his horse to complete rehabilitation from an injury & hopefully remain on some form of livery.

A quick search came up with Brookfield nr Bracknell but know nothing about it. Would like to offer him some sort of recommendation or testimonials etc as a very difficult decision for him to move areas.
Thx

It's about 5mins from me. Very smart, and as far as I can see, mostly geared towards high level competition. I'm not sure it would be my first choice as there's virtually no turnout, and the hacking is on busy roads, with a long way to go to get off road. I hadn't heard that they are now a rehab facility, but happy to be corrected.
I have heard from several former employees that they are a bit (lot) mean with forage.

We’ll I think for the forage issue alone it’d be a no no ? Horse isn’t high level competition so sounds a bit high brow for friend. Thank you for info, will pass on anyway

I know someone very happy at Heathlands which is around the same area and price.
Several people have recommended Heathlands for care, standards & friendliness but turnout & hacking is limited ? Is that the general consensus ? Looks a very nice yard on paper mind.

I would have thought the hacking would be ok, as they are close to some off road hacking areas. Can't comment re turnout, as I don't know, but the woman who runs it seems like a decent sort. I've never heard a bad word said about the place
Winter turnout is difficult round here, as it's heavy clay, and most yards don't want to turn out on it. I do (hence usually being full) but I have to grit my teeth and not look at the fields for 4/5 months of the year! They bounce back after some TLC, but they look dreadful all winter!

Thank you ! Where is your yard may I ask ? Do you have a website at all or FB ? Do you know Westfield(?) in Odiham at all ?

I'm just outside Bracknell - Warfield. I don;t have a FB page/website (despite social media management being my side job!) as it's a tiny yard of only 10 horses, and my personal facebook page is deluged with yard content anyway!
I don't know that one, I'm afraid

Have you considered Bournefield in Bradfield, so the other side of Reading? I have never kept a horse there, but do the Equipilates and have also been to a few in hand polework clinics. It isn't a flashy place, but I believe they have plenty of grazing, and if it is rehab your friend is after, it may be somewhere to look at. They have regular clinics with Russell Guire.

It's now DIY or grass livery only now and in the wrong direction. But thank you for the suggestion.
