I have a 3yo TB who I would like to take out showing next season as part of his education. At the moment he looks like he will make a riding horse. Rather stuck on browband colour (only done bay/grey show ponies, rest have been SHP/WH) as he is bright orangey chestnut. Also has a thin/mottled white star/stripe.

I have: green mears hacking jacket with subtle red/mustard overcheck, navy collar overlay
pale blue shirt
yellow tie
Perfectly happy to replace shirt/tie colours to match browband but jacket is a keeper!

I like blue/yellow/gold/white on chestnuts but thought perhaps green jacket would look odd with this. Also considering yellow/gold/cream if I could find one? Green would be the obvious answer to match both jacket and compliment chesnut but have never seen green in the ring and liked it.
Any ideas/experiences appreciated.

I have this one on my chestnut and wear a fuller fillies green jacket with a bright pink overcheck

I love green browbands :) nice and subtle, and don't distract from the head :)

I like this browband on the right - nice colours! Although the HHOer on the left aint bad either :p

I was going to say Green too! I really like Bottle green and navy together.

go to the Crystal Browbands website - there are plenty of ideas on there!

RH class you want to catch judges eye & keep it, You need to stand out a bit not disappear into the crowd. I'd go for red tie with spot/stripe/something - maybe in dark green/gold. Browband red & gold with a touch of something else - white/green (seeing as you like it)/bling.

My chestnut has a browband we made, it's mint green, royal purple, and black..sounds horrible, I know but it looked awesome :) Trying to upload a photo of it now..but my camera always makes purple look blue..

Also have one that's a darker mint kind of colour with black and gold.

Will edit in a second :)

Really want to avoid red as he is very orange! I'm really looking forward to the bling, haven't had a blingy type for ages.
£32.99 is quite cheap so will have a look there too.
Love the black, very unusual but I think as he only has mottled/thin white on his face, I need a bit of cream to lighten him up.
Thanks again.
