Browband Slipping Down - Loops Too Wide

Has anyone found a solution for where browbands loops slip down the headpiece? The loops on all of my browbands are wider than the headpiece on my bridle so they slip down slightly. I mainly now use clip on browbands (Montar and PS of Sweden) but I have the same problem with traditional browbands. I need to find a way to fill out the loops somehow!! I don't want to change the bridle.

Yep plaiting bands - my PS ones stay up fine until I add on the throat latch then the extra weight pulls it down

Another vote for plaiting bands - use a couple around the loops at the ends of the browband to reduce the size of the opening - or as per IHW above, a saddler would be able to add a couple of stitches for you.

Can I ask how/when does it slip down? The browband on my bridle has wide loops so slips when it is off the horse, but nestles neatly in the right place when being worn.
